Install the plugin: 
ruby script/plugin install git://github.com/leewbutler/show_hidden_fields.git

1. Git it from github.com/leewbutler/show_hidden_fields
2. In config/environment.rb init block add: 

SHOW_HIDDEN_FIELDS = true


3. Restart your server.
